CBACS' Purpose

From the outset CBACS has set out to enhance the quality of life of members of the 'black community'/descendants of enslaved Africans ...

This has been somewhat of an uphill struggle because to enhance the quality of our lives we must take a hard look at how we have arrived where we currently are if we are to understand the underlying issues.  Taking a hard look at slavery, colonisation, and contemporary relationships between blacks and whites is a significant challenge when open discussion of these issues is frowned on by many members of both groups.

We are, therefore, immensely happy that our decision to stay with the challenge has resulted in a significant breakthrough for CBACS.  We have identified our fundamental PURPOSE for being!  More will be shared about this over time.
